Lowongan: NPI TEST EQUIPMENT ENGINEER - CAMBRIDGESHIRE - 12 MONTHS

My global technology client based in Cambridgeshire are urgently seeking an Operations NPI Engineer for Test Equipment work. The role will involve working with R&D on their new product range to specify suitable tests and set-up processes that can be applied to each product in stages of the manufacturing process to ensure each product meets specification.The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing and implementing core quality tools such as PFMEA and Process Control Methodology.

MAIN DUTIES:

· Development of test strategy.
· Managing the vendor design and manufacturing program to schedule and cost.
· Trial builds and suitable repeatability tests including input from component suppliers.
· Managing acceptance criteria achievement and handover to Operations. 

Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience of developing semi-automated and automated capital equipment or test equipment
- Understanding of the compliance requirements including CE marking, ATEX and the Machinery Directive
- Honours degree or equivalent (i.e. recognised status by a professional institute), preferably in manufacturing, quality or production engineering, with at least five years experience in a manufacturing environment.
