Job Requirements -
To be considered for the role, you will need to have previous experience working within a project manager position for at least 2+ years - the project is based around the following technologies - IP/MPLS - IGW - Security, this is a Rollout based project so experience within this type of environment is key - Vendor based skills are Juniper/Cisco
The role of the Project Manager is primarily to support the project through the provision of project control and planning functions on larger projects. They may take sole responsibility for small projects either standalone or as part of a larger project or program. 2-3 years’ experience in project control and planning is when the project managers are supported such that their projects deliver the results required by all stakeholders. Efficiency and effectiveness of execution for small projects is displayed when the cost, quality and time targets are met to stakeholder satisfaction. You will also need experience in Project Integration Management, assist in the preparation and maintenance of project plans, assist in the monitoring and controlling of projects, manage change requests and integrate approved ones into the project plan as directed, assist with activities to formerly close the project or phase, direct execution of the rollout project and take accountability for project performance.
