Our client has a fantastic opportunity to work in their Design Centre based in Dublin. The company are well known worldwide as one of the leading Telecommunication & IT brands.
Their Design Centre is targeting to be a recognized forice in their objective to become a leader in management software for communication systems (OSS and BSS). The Design Centre will work closely with an open innovative ecosystem with their customers to address real-world issues.
Service Modelling Expert (OSS/BSS) Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture in network fulfillment and service orchestration
- Member of architecture team reporting to Chief Architect and develop agile proof of concept for next generation configuration management
- Guide and direct key technological trends
- Add deep knowledge of NFV (Network Function Virtualization) and SDN (Soft Defined Networks) orchestration configuration management concepts.
Background from Service Modelling Expert (OSS/BSS) ;
- Deep knowledge of model driven development and model driven architecture
- Master or higher Degree in either Computer Science, Software Architectures or Communications
- 3+ years working in a R&D model driven environment
- 8+ years industry experience
- Good understanding of the following;
- MDA and code generation
- Object Constraint Language
- RESTful webserveices
- Maven
- Eclipse modeling framework EMF
- Netconf and/or YANG
- Be familiar with Software Defined Networks (SDN) and Network Function Virtualization (NFV)
- Worked ideally with any of the following:
- IBM
- NetCracker
- HP / Hewlett Packard
