Job: Transmission Back office Engineer

Start Date: Immediately (need to be available Immediately)

Length: 3 Months (renewable)

Location: Qatar

Role and Responsibilities:

A premier telecoms organization in Qatar is searching for engineers in the area of Transmission. Your purpose will be operational support for Transmission Swap from Alcatel Lucent to Huawei Microwave & Operational support for Alcatel microwave equipment’s during Swap.

Your responsibilities will include operational acceptance of new elements in the network and provide subject matter expert support to Network Build for the specification of operational requirements. You will be working to a Level 2 standard for support of all technical problems.

Skills Required for the Role:

- Migration , Modifying logical parameters , firmware upgrade , activity related  to an interface ,abis e1 , Swap, TRX and sun enterprise systems

- Handover of all new live elements to MS partner for operation acceptance & Follow up on the swap plan 
- Check the SWAP change orders with Huawei and the approval process .
- Follow up the execution swap – during the action and the intercommunication with the different teams ( HW/GNOC/ FLMs)

- Check the configuration of the new NEs on the u2000 & alarms, also on ALU NMS ( alarms, supervision of NEs in area)  before to close the CO  and give the approval for closure

- Clear the NEs from ALU NMS in case the sites already dismantled.- Have an extensive experience in acceptance, SWAP, HUAWEI microwave equipment, Alcatel Lucent Microwaves ( 9500 MPR & 1353 NM) daily operational requirements of a Network Operation’s team
