Here at RP, we are currently looking for a Product Configuration Engineer with hands on experience of Unix/SQL.
The role we have open involves a 6 month renewable contract being based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The role will involve working for Amdocs and XL project.
We need someone that has experience working on Telco related projects within IT department.
3-5 years experience will be sufficient.
Training will be provided.
Salary on offer: 2,500 USD per month (GROSS)
Local tax will apply
Technical/Functional Skills:
· Very Good knowledge of Unix/SQL
· Should be able to read logs, debug and understand process flows
· Technical/business knowledge of Amdocs EPC/PC/RLC or other Product or Business Parameter Configuration tools.
· Experience as Analyst/Consultant, or Developer/Tester would be an advantage
Brief Description
· Help customers Implement, configure & customize PC changes, problem troubleshooting and the provide workarounds for product defects/limitations
· Answer technical queries raised by the customers
· Provide dedicated support to specific account/customer ST/UAT/Production rollout/Upgrade/Migration etc
· Travel to customer site for on-site support and knowledge transfer, as required
· Gain in depth functional knowledge of a module/product by handling issues across different releases and of varied complexity. Participate in readiness activities for the new product versions being released
· Work closely with other application team
· Provide 24X7 on call support from home or office for production critical issues
· Develop and maintain Amdocs Knowledge base
· Review new deliverables and design specifications for Product Configuration
