RAN: Support Engineer (3G/4G Expert)

My client a world’s leading vendor is urgently looking for a RAN: Support Engineer (3G/4G Expert) to work on a 6 month extendable contract in Bahrain.

Job Summary

You as the Support Engineer is responsible for handling problems that have been reported by customers or other customer support organizations, Implementation of change requests raised by Network Optimization Team, Software upgrades of NODE, ENODEB, RNC, Solving CSRs raised by Operations team within agreed SLA, Coordination with product line

Qualification and Requirements

You will need to have at least 3-5 years’ experience, with in-depth troubleshooting skills on Ericsson WRAN nodes (RNC, RBS, RXI) and LTE (ENODBE), Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent, Ability to independently deal with complicated technical issues and problems In-depth SW and HW troubleshooting skills on the CPP nodes, namely RNC, RBS, In-depth SW and HW troubleshooting skills on the RAN nodes, namely RBS, AXE BSC will be a plus, Transmission product knowledge will be a plus, In-depth SW and HW troubleshooting skills on WRAN, LRAN technology, Ability to trace and modify software to localize the faults, In-depth understanding of the STS functionality of the RAN nodes and ability to troubleshoot performance related issues across various nodes Will be a plus, if you have experience in Installation, Implementation, Commissioning and Testing of Ericsson BSC and RBS and highly developed HW and SW troubleshooting skills on Ericsson GRAN nodes, Knowledge on various technologies supported by Ericsson. (E.g. UMTS, GPRS, EDGE, WCDMA, GSM, LTE etc)
